Locations

Brookhaven is a sandbox, so the "map" is really a rotating set of reusable sets. These are the ones with names, history, and their own jokes.

Counts are mentions across the 453 transcripts (a floor; captions garble place names too).

Place Mentions / videos What it is
Burger Barn 187 / 57 The default fast-food stop; the place Todd grabs food for Baby Todd ([206], [211]). Removed from the game at some point — the show kept using the name.
Starbucks / Starbrooks 126 / 38 (Starbrooks 7 / 5) Coffee chain. In [152] Todd buys it, renames it Todd Brooks, and changes the menu.
Lake Madison 62 / 37 The lake, station and beach — the default scenic/travel location ([398], [414]).
Rotten Robbie's 49 / 19 A gas station with an owner (Robbie), exotic snacks, and the only Cool Ranch Doritos in Brookhaven ([371]).
Alpha's Taxis 39 / 6 Taxi dealership and the backbone of the $1→$1,000,000 taxi grind ([295]).
Los Ponchos 13 / 11 Mexican restaurant; the food critic episode ([345]) and a Mayor Kyle acquisition target.
Six Guys 9 / 3 Burger place, named for the joke, used as a bait location in a Snapchat troll ([351]).
Eagleview 3 / 1 The rich neighbourhood where VIP Uber fares go ([035]).
Toddville 190 / 2 Todd's own town — see Toddville.
Brook Gate 5 / 2 The prison where the Criminal War ends ([210], [201]).

The ones with lore

Burger Barn

The channel's most-mentioned brand. It is not a set so much as a narrative excuse: whenever a character needs to leave the room, cool off, or buy forgiveness, someone goes to Burger Barn. It has a secret menu ([206]) and it survives floods, wars and the apocalypse, which makes it the closest thing Brookhaven has to a constant.

Starbrooks → Todd Brooks

[152] I Bought STARBROOKS turns the coffee shop into a business-empire episode: Todd buys the chain, renames it Todd Brooks, changes the menu, and immediately has to deal with a loyalist uprising ("I want the old Starbrooks back"). It is the clearest example of the show treating a background building as IP.

Rotten Robbie's → Kyle's Gas

The gas station has its own owner and its own inventory. In [371] Todd buys it and discovers the business model is "exotic snacks." Later, Mayor Kyle buys it and renames it:

"Kyle's Tacos, which was formerly Los Ponchos and Kyle's Gas, formerly known as Rotten Robbies." — [140]

That single line is the show's whole approach to continuity: the map is canon, but ownership is a joke.

Los Ponchos

The restaurant that becomes Kyle's Tacos when the Mayor buys the city. It is also the setting for [345] I Pretend To Be a FOOD CRITIC, where Todd reviews it undercover.

Lake Madison

A station, a beach and a lake. Used for travel scenes (the train stops there in [443] and [398]), for rich-people montages ([414]), and for the occasional drowning gag.

Eagleview

Only three mentions, all in [035] I Became VIP UBER DRIVER: it is where the rich fares live, and therefore where a VIP Uber episode has to end.

Brook Gate

Introduced as the city's prison, then used as the setting for the Criminal War finale: the police have not quit — they are being held inside Brook Gate ([201]).

Places outside Brookhaven

Place Where it appears What it is
Candia [192] Cola-mining camp; exit costs 15 colas
Cola Cliff [192] The lethal shortcut out of Candia
Prime Haven [188], [179], [112] Hidden city of the superpowered Primes
Toddville [145], [118] Todd's breakaway town
The Backrooms [452] The 2026 life-span setting
Hell [098] Hot, sweaty, and stocked with diet cola

How locations work

  • They are reusable sets, not geography. Nobody travels between Burger Barn and Lake Madison; the episode cuts there.
  • Ownership is a running joke. Mayor Kyle buys everything ([140]); Todd rebrands whatever he can afford ([152], [371]).
  • Names change when the game updates. Burger Barn's removal, Rotten Robbie's rebrand and the Starbrooks sign are all handled by pretending the change was always a plot point.

Historical context

Locations evolved from simple background settings into significant narrative and thematic elements.

Evolution

  • Early development (2023–2024) — locations served as functional backgrounds for Todd's schemes; Burger Barn became a recurring food-and-escape stop.
  • Economic expansion (2024–2025) — places took on economic significance: Starbrooks → Todd Brooks ([152]) was the first location turned into a business venture, alongside Alpha's Taxis and the taxi grind.
  • Narrative integration (2025–2026) — locations carried arcs: Toddville as Todd's own town, and Brook Gate as the setting where major conflicts concluded.

A sandbox map that was never a real geography became the show's continuity layer: ownership is the running joke, and every episode can add a place or rewrite one.
