Canon & fandom
UrBroTodd has no canon bible, no showrunner, and no obligation to remember yesterday. This page explains how the wiki decides what is "real" — and why that question is more interesting here than on a normal show.
The three layers
1. Lore (recurring, treated as history). Mr Brookhaven's 2021 rampage, Prime Haven, Toddville, the Criminal War, the FBI internship. These are called back, so they count.
2. Bits (recurring, treated as comedy). Dolphin Life, Simon being dumb, Baker's lawn, Kerry's driving, the cola anthem. They recur too, but they are devices rather than events; nobody expects a timeline.
3. Meta (real world). Danny is the performer; Poke, Brooke, Riley and Mato are real friends; Wolfpaq is the real developer; Voldex bought Brookhaven. The show mixes these into the fiction whenever it is funny.
Real vs fictional
| Real people (play themselves) | Fictional (voiced by Danny) |
|---|---|
| Poke | Todd |
| Brooke | Baby Todd |
| Riley | Kerry |
| Mato Tappy | Everyone else — Baby Poke, Donny Baker, Jay Bablo, Mayor Kyle, Broccoli Chadwick, Santa, Mr Brookhaven, Crazy Jerry, Simon, Gina, Clyde, Gregors, Ted… |
The distinction matters because "Poke" is a person with a life outside the show, while "Baby Todd" is a character whose age, school and species can change for a joke.
The canon rules this wiki uses
- Recurrence = canon. A detail used in two or more videos is treated as part of the world. A one-off is a bit.
- Contradiction is not error. When two episodes disagree, the wiki records both and does not pick a winner. The show treats its own history as material, not as a contract.
- No permanent consequences. Deaths, arrests, apocalypses and bankruptcies reset. "It was all a dream" is an explicit ending once; usually the reset is silent.
- Name matches are a floor. The transcripts are auto-captions, so a character can be present without being named. "First named" does not mean "first appeared."
- Label speculation. If a page says "reportedly" or "the fandom treats", it is not dialogue evidence.
- The show's own words win. Where the analysis document and the transcripts disagree, the transcripts win; where both are silent, the wiki says so.
Fandom canon
The community's iconic roster (the one that shows up in fan art and comments) is:
Todd · Poke · Baby Todd · Kerry · Jay Bablo · Baby Poke · Donny Baker · Clyde · Mayor Kyle · President Broccoli Chadwick · Brooke · Gina · Crazy Jerry · Gregors · Riley · Mato
It is a popularity list, not a screen-time list. Riley appears in only 3 videos but is a fan icon; Santa has 476 mentions but only 14 December appearances; Clyde is three dolphins.
Known continuity puzzles
| Puzzle | What the show says | Wiki treatment |
|---|---|---|
| When did Baby Todd arrive? | The analysis dates the adoption to Mar 2024, but the transcripts show the name in [399] (Sep 2023) and the adoption episode [285] on Jul 10, 2024 | "First named Sep 2023; adopted Jul 2024" |
| Is Ted new? | [385] (Nov 2023) teases "a new brother"; [452] (Oct 2026) reveals the twin | Treat [452] as the canon introduction, [385] as a tease |
| Who is Mr Brookhaven? | A 2021 villain, a cursed account, and a private server owner | Keep all three as in-universe claims; do not reconcile |
| How old is Todd? | Whatever the episode needs — child, dad, elder, 99 | Age is a format, not a fact |
| Is Brookhaven sold? | [199] says yes (Voldex); later episodes ignore it | A meta bit, not a status quo change |
How this wiki is different from a fan wiki
- It cites episodes (
[NNN]) and counts, not vibes. - It refuses to invent. No birthdays, no surnames, no family trees beyond what is said on screen.
- It marks its own uncertainty. "First named", "floor", "reportedly" and "not verified" are used deliberately.
- It is allowed to say "the show forgot". That is often the correct explanation.
