Channel-Wide Analysis
453 long-form Brookhaven RP videos · 29 Shorts · ~1.90M words · March 21, 2023 → October 24, 2026
Source: Data/raw/dataset_youtube-full-channel-transcripts_2026-10-16.json (451 videos, all parsed OK) plus two post-snapshot uploads added by hand ([451], [452]). Transcripts live in Data/transcripts/; publication dates, durations and view counts in Data/metadata/video_metadata.json. Corpus verified against the live channel on 2026-10-28: 453 long-form videos, 29 Shorts, no gaps.
Method: full dataset frequency analysis (unigrams/bigrams/trigrams, proper-noun census, phrase counts, title formulas, era histograms) + deep reads of ~60 representative videos + full skim (openings/endings) of the rest. Counts quoted below are reproducible via Scripts/count_terms.py → Data/metadata/term_counts.md.
Caption caveats: auto-captions garble some words and whiff on names — "Brook Haven"/"BROOK HAVEN" = Brookhaven; "Lally" = literally; "Righty" (in my first pass) = "all righty"; the sidekick is Kerry (captions say "Carrie"/"Carri"), the news anchor is Jay Bablo (captions say "Boblo"/"Pablo"), the neighbor is Donny Baker (captions say "Donnie"), the secret agent is Gregors (captions say "Gregor"), and the Tiny Civ giant is Mato (captions say "MTO"); ALL CAPS = raised voice.
Ordering caveat: the NNN_ file numbers follow the original extraction order, which is approximately newest-first (Spearman −0.99) but locally shuffled — [000] is Dec 2025 while [045] is Oct 2026. Treat the numbers as stable IDs, not a timeline. Data/metadata/catalog.md is the true chronological list, and index.json carries a chrono rank (1 = oldest). The genuine first video is [443] "I Got Trapped In A Moving Truck" (Mar 21, 2023); the newest is [451] "$0 To $999,999,999" (Oct 24, 2026).
1. What this channel is
A Roblox Brookhaven RP roleplay-comedy channel starring "Todd" (Danny, in real life; channel UrBroTodd): a well-meaning, cola-addicted, chronically broke disaster magnet who schemes his way through a city of NPCs and random players. Every video is a miniature crime/domestic sitcom: stakes inflate absurdly (a fence becomes a nuclear border; a fake baby robs billionaires), then deflate with deadpan humor. Tone: mischievous but wholesome, kid-safe, anti-cynical. Growth milestones tracked in-video: 100K in June 2024 (face reveal [290]), 200K in Oct 2024 ([209]), 300K on Jul 28, 2025 ([083], after a push that started in April), then a year-long "help Todd hit 400,000" campaign ([050]/[054], Nov 2025) that lands in [452] (Oct 17, 2026).
Scale: 1,904,339 words total; median 3,962 words per video (1,644–20,666, mean 4,204). Upload cadence: 84 videos in 2023, 170 in 2024, 158 in 2025, then 41 through Oct 2026 (weekly Saturday slots, ~1/week).
2. Title architecture
The title is a rigid template: [FIRST-PERSON HOOK IN CAPS] .. (Brookhaven RP).
- "Brookhaven" in 431/453 titles (95%); "RP" in 412; parenthetical suffix on 234.
- 261 titles start with "I " ("I Became…", "I Built…", "I Opened…", "I Found…") — a confession/scheme grammar.
- "!!" in 179, ".." in 259, an ALL-CAPS token in 444. Curiosity words: FAKE (35), SECRET (29), SURVIVE (26), ROB (24), BORDER (19), POLICE (19), SCHOOL (17), BABY (20), SON (41), HOURS (17), YEARS (18), CIVILIZATION (14).
- Formulas that became franchises: "I Became…" (39), "My Son…", "Brookhaven RP But It's X Civilization", "X Had RULES.. I Broke Them ALL", "Upgrading SLOWEST to FASTEST", "$1 to $1,000,000 X", "24 HOURS", "99 YEARS", "Splits Brookhaven", "BIRTH to DEATH".
3. Structure & plot engine
Beat sheet (stable across all eras):
- Cold open — one of three modes: in-media-res flash-forward ("they're after me — how did I end up here?"), fake-trailer/documentary VO ("For years, criminals have…"), or sitcom dialogue cold-open.
- Premise pitch to camera over a cola ("Guys, today I'm going to…") + like/comment ask in the first 30–60s.
- Plan & job loop — recruit Poke/Kerry; acquire disguise/vehicle/building; travel; NPC encounters narrated in quoted dialogue ("he said…").
- Escalation cascade — complications stack: cops, betrayals, disasters, arrests, deaths. Roughly 3–10 escalation cycles per video.
- Climax & reset — arrested, killed, faked death, dream reveal, or city-wide fallout; then the status quo snaps back.
- Ending — moral/ironic stinger + sign-off: "…see y'all in the next one. Peace." / "Todd out" / "let's go get a cola" / abrupt joke cut. The full "Peace." send-off is spoken in only ~24 videos; most end on the stinger itself. No explicit "Part 2" or "To be continued" anywhere in 1.9M words — sequels are signaled by "previously on Todd" recap openings, replayed previous finales, or topic-branded series.
Continuity: loose but affectionate. "earlier" appears 411× across 218 videos; only 15 videos literally say "last video." Multi-video arcs exist (FBI saga, Criminal War, Prime lineage lore, Mr Brookhaven Halloween arc) and pay off months later — but any episode is watchable cold.
Engagement machinery (a signature): likes are woven diegetically into plot — "like the video right now to upgrade my border," likes reduce a $1-trillion fine, give "+1 strength," unlock story branches; the subscriber counter itself is a gag ("+200K COLA CHUGS," "subscribe so I can chug a real cola"). "drop a like" appears 221× in 135 videos, "subscribe" 528× in 251 — low-pressure by YouTube standards, usually tied to an in-world dare.
Stakes are deliberately trivial: the stakes reset every upload; plots exist to produce jokes, not consequences.
4. Recurring themes & motifs
- Cola = the religion. Appears in 365/453 videos (81%) by name alone — drink, currency, contraband, personality. Cola is banned, weaponized, rationed, worshipped (Cola Factory, Cola Family, Cola Park, Cola Border, Cola Civilization, "Cola Mama," CEO Cornelius, "DO NOT DRINK THIS COLA AT 3AM").
- Borders & walls (19 titles, 2024–2026): Todd builds borders to keep criminals/drugs/radiation out — or fake borders to rob premium players. Late 2025 peaks in a full nuclear-border saga (radiation, hazmat suits, "Brookhaven is getting unstable"); the 2026 revival is siege-based ("Border Invasion", "Max Level Border", "Girls Only Border").
- Family & adoption: sons (Baby Todd, Baby Poke), moms and dads, "premium families," Prime lineage, being adopted by Barbie — the emotional core under the crime.
- Cops vs criminals (police/cops named in 277/453 videos, jail in 189): jails as spas, prisoner friends, SWAT, FBI arcs, corrupt mayors/presidents.
- Civilization battles: Police vs Criminal, Kids vs Adults, Boys vs Girls, Strong, Tiny, $1, Cola, Crime, Racing, Frozen, War — PvP faction comedy.
- Life-span films: "99 YEARS" / "100 YEARS" / "BIRTH to DEATH" — Todd ages 1→99 through a themed world (jail, purge, pandemic, zombie wall, Jurassic Park, school, under-spawn).
- Disasters of the week: "Splits" (blackout, disease, cola, crime, border), floods, freezes, zombie outbreaks, alien abductions, military invasions (usually Poke's paid prank).
- Wealth fantasy: $1→$1,000,000 grinds, premium players, billionaires, zillionaires, poor-vs-rich morality plays.
- School: teachers, principals, bullies, buses, daycares — and secret rooms built inside all of them.
- Evil government: Mayor Kyle (corrupt), President Broccoli Chadwick (bans cola, nukes Toddville), General Scuff — satire with a smile.
- Meta/channel history: reacting to his first video, sold-Brookhaven news (Voldex), game updates, glitches, fake Wolfpaq (Brookhaven's real developer), fan episodes.

Fan canon: per the community, the iconic roster is — Todd, Poke, Baby Todd, Kerry, Jay Bablo, Baby Poke, Donny Baker, Clyde, Mayor Kyle, President Broccoli Chadwick, Brooke, Gina, Crazy Jerry, Gregors, Riley, Mato. He performs all the fictional characters himself (voice reveal [290]: "my name is Danny AKA Todd"), with distinct registers — Kerry's monotone muscle, Santa's ho-ho, monkey squeaks — while Poke, Brooke, Riley, and Mato are real-life YouTuber friends who appear as themselves.
6. Gags & catchphrases (with counts)
- Family-safe swearing system: "heck" 10,596 ("what the heck" 5,178; "heck no/yeah/you"), "dang" 3,107, "jeez" 655, "oh my gosh" 2,167, "holy crap" 2,419. The channel practically runs on heck (all 453 videos).
- The panic lexicon: "oh my god" 7,756 · "literally" 6,340 (+ the caption artifact "Lally") · "he said"/"she said" 5,073/1,455 (the narrated-dialogue engine) · "guys," 4,855 · "come on" 3,517 · "bro like" 2,269 · "let's go" 2,256 · "all righty" 1,250 · "no way" 892.
- Cola canon: chug counters at subscriber milestones; "summertime, where's my cola" anthem; "no better way to start the day than with the c-o-l-a."
- TV shows inside the show: Dolphin Life ("Clyde, Clyde and Clyde — they're all named Clyde. Nobody knows why"), El Zorro Blanco, plus his own news channel recaps.
- Stores & locations: Burger Barn (187; since removed from the game), Rotten Robbie's (49; later "Kyle's Gas"), Starbucks/"Starbrooks" (126; "Starbrooks" is the 2025-era in-game sign), Eagleview, Los Ponchos, Six Guys, J-Brooks coffee, Alpha's taxis, Lake Madison, Toddville.
- Fortnite (496) — hobby, addiction, and universal dismissal ("go play Fortnite").
- Signature bits: shoulder Baby Todd (merch gag), "you read my mind," the Todd dance, Simon is dumb, Baker's lawn, Kerry's driving crash clips, "code cola" distress call, "RIP my granny — hit by a bazooka," John Pork/John Bork phone gag, "do not look at Mr Brookhaven," 3AM cola horror, "it was all a dream" reveals, redemption-moral endings ("having money doesn't matter").
- Vocabulary register: sick, lit, fire, goated, cooked, sus, W/L, brain rot — but remarkably no heavy Gen-Alpha slang (rizz/skibidi/gyatt ≈ absent). The voice is timeless, not trend-chasing.
7. Writing & performance style
- Solo-performer improv over a written spine (plus real-friend collabs). Premise, rules, and arc are scripted; execution is live RP reacting to real players and engine chaos (ragdolls, pancaked cars, upside-down helicopters become slapstick). Poke, Brooke, Riley, and Mato appear as themselves; every other NPC is Danny voicing a character he casts on the spot.
- Humor mechanics: absurd escalation played straight; bathos (epic narration → "I got a cola"); deadpan rules-lawyering of absurd bureaucracy (purge hours, crime rent, strength tax); mock-prestige documentary openings; parody plots (Spider-Man, Squid Game, Purge, Jurassic Park, The Grinch, Barbie); fake deaths and fake funerals; self-aware meta ("This isn't YouTube. Well, technically it is").
- Wholesome irony: he'll rob a bank and end with a sincere moral; kindness to a homeless Poke is played straight, then undercut. Violence is cartoon-logic; the "worst" word is heck.
- Continuity literacy: "previously on Todd" recaps, replayed finales as cold opens, cliffhangers ("I'm coming for you Todd"), seeded lore ("his real father is a Prime from Prime Haven… all this long lore you don't need to get into") that actually pays off later.
- Pacing: frantic; panic loops and ALL-CAPS spikes; quick-cut editing named in-story ("what a Mikey").
- Growth arc of craft: 2023 videos are longer, looser, CTA-heavy, real-time improv; 2024 adds serialized arcs and FULL MOVIE compilations; 2025 adds scripted-sounding dialogue (captions show real speaker-switch markers only in the newest ~140 videos), bigger set pieces, and tighter editing.
8. Evolution timeline (approx.)
- Mar–Dec 2023: birth of the channel (first video [443], Mar 21: cola-truck heist). School, adoption, hide & seek, Born-in-Jail, Spider-Man, Santa, FULL MOVIE experiments at year-end. 84 videos.
- 2024: growth era. Snapchat-trolling franchise, fake-baby crime saga, zombie trilogy, border patrol, 100K face reveal ([290], Jun 4) → 200K ([209], Oct 26). "Had rules, broke them all" formula debuts. 170 videos — the channel's busiest year.
- Late 2024–early 2025: horror-mystery era ("at night" monkey possession), Criminal War arc, business-empire episodes, Prime lineage lore, parents-series, voice reveal.
- 2025: scale era. FBI saga, Toddville, border economy scams, boys-vs-girls revival, 300K on Jul 28 ([083]). Late 2025 = nuclear-border climax + creepy-secret-horror (boys-only hotel, MX infection, creepy principal, glitches/Wolfpaq meta content) and the opening of the 400K push ([050]/[054], Nov). 158 videos.
- 2026 (Jan–Oct): the format-consolidation era — 41 videos, near-weekly Saturday slots, and almost every upload is one of three templates: "I Survive 99 YEARS in X" life-span films (SWAT, Purge, Jail, Pandemic, Spider-Man, Zombie Apocalypse, Taxi, Jurassic Park, Military, Backrooms — 10 of 41), "X vs Y Civilization" (Boys vs Girls, Kids vs Adults, Police vs Criminal), or border / girls-only siege arcs. New mini-series: Uber driver ([041]/[032]/[035]) and economy crime (nuke smuggler [033], fake border supercar heist [037], gold heist [044]). New faces: Tappy ([042], Apr) and twin brother Ted with furniture-store dad Chuck ([452]). Videos get longer (5–8K words) and the 400K milestone finally lands on Oct 17 ([452]), with a "million subscriber cola" saved for later.
9. Twelve representative quotes
- [450, first month of the channel] "I thought this was John Bork for a sec. — No bro, it's Todd."
- [000, Dec 2025] "I quit. Stupid nuclear border… Now I'm glowing green, bro."
- [098] "At least there's something good about hell… Oh my god, it's diet cola. This place really is hell."
- [112] "His real father is a Prime from Prime Haven… All this long lore you don't need to get into."
- [181] "My name is Banzar and I was Baby Todd's toy monkey until he ditched me for Fortnite."
- [209] "It's like you guys are holding a gun up to my head and saying chug the cola, Todd."
- [323] "I sold my house, bought a frat house… all because someone wouldn't let me get a cola from the vending machine."
- [404] "I'm calling in a code cola. Code cola. CODE COLA."
- [063] "Sorry, but no adults in the city. Kids only. Thanks for the chocolate."
- [349] "I hate you Brook Haven, you made me into this monster."
- [451, newest] "I HAVE MINUS MONEY. Negative $50. I don't know how that even works, bro."
- [452] "This is a million subscriber cola, guys, okay? Not a 400,000 subscriber cola."
10. The one-paragraph takeaway
UrBroTodd is a formula factory with genuine improv warmth: rigid title/hook packaging wrapped around a flexible six-beat sitcom engine; the same five friends and one soft drink recycled across 453 scenarios; crimes that always fail, jails that feel like spas, villains who come back bigger, and stakes that reset with a "Peace." Its signature trick is making the audience part of the plot (likes that buy fences, conjured subscriptions, cola-chug milestones) — and its signature voice is panic-stricken but fundamentally kind. Continuity is thin by design but deep in practice: seed a monkey, a Prime, or a faceless 2021 villain early, pay it off a year later. The structure is rock-solid, the style is consistent, and the plot is whatever Brookhaven's server hands him today.
