Cola
"At least there's something good about hell, guys. … Oh my god, it's diet cola. This place really is hell." — [098]
Cola is the channel's third main character. It is mentioned 3,755 times across 365 of the 453 videos — more videos than any character except Todd and Poke. It is a drink, a currency, a religion, a political cause, and the thing Todd will commit crimes for.
What cola does in the show
1. It is the motivational engine. Todd opens most episodes with a cola in hand and a plan in his head; the drink is the visual signature of "Todd is about to do something stupid." The word chug appears 134 times in 57 videos, almost always as a challenge, a dare or a punishment.
2. It is money. The border economy runs on it: in [050] I Opened A COLA BORDER, Todd watches the cola trucks and decides to tax them. In [192] COLA CIVILIZATION, the poor live in Candia, a cola-mining camp, and the only way out costs 15 colas. Cola is mined, guarded, traded and inherited.
3. It is contraband. [173] COLA Is BANNED in Brookhaven RP.. (Feb 3, 2025) is a full prohibition episode: the government outlaws cola, and Todd becomes a bootlegger. The same instinct returns in [106] The Day COLA Took Over Brookhaven RP.., where cola becomes a political faction.
4. It is a ritual. Subscriber milestones are measured in chugs:
| Milestone | Episode | Bit |
|---|---|---|
| 100K | [290] Todd CHUGS A COLA!! (FACE REVEAL) | face reveal: "my name is Danny AKA Todd" |
| 200K | [209] REACTING To My FIRST Brookhaven RP Video!! (+200K COLA CHUGS) | chugs as a subscriber debt |
| 400K | [452] 99 YEARS in the BACKROOMS | "This is a million subscriber cola… not a 400,000 subscriber cola" |
5. It is a distress signal. In [404] I Went UNDERCOVER As A KID COP, Todd's emergency call is "code cola" — the closest the channel gets to a catchphrase for help.

The anthem
The in-universe cola jingle — "summertime, where's my cola" and "no better way to start the day than with the c-o-l-a" — is one of the few recurring musical bits in the channel. It is sung, not just referenced, and it is the closest thing the show has to a theme song.
Cola rules (as established on-screen)
- Cola is everywhere in Brookhaven and everybody drinks it ([050]).
- Diet cola is a punishment — the worst thing hell can offer ([098]).
- Cola can be mined (Candia), guarded (Cola Cliff), and owned (the Cola King).
- Chugging is the unit of celebration and humiliation.
- The million-subscriber cola is the promised final boss of the cola canon ([452]).
Historical context
Cola has been a central theme since the channel's early episodes and has evolved as the channel grew.
Evolution
- Early development (2023–2024) — cola was established as Todd's signature drink and visual prop, a near-every-episode "chug" theme.
- Economic expansion (2024–2025) — cola became a full-fledged currency and economic system; "COLA CIVILIZATION" established the cola class system.
- Political significance (2025–2026) — cola became a political cause, with "COLA Is BANNED" and "The Day COLA Took Over" showing its role in factional conflicts.
Cola is the channel's signature blend of absurdity and thematic consistency: a literal prop that is also a symbol, evolving with the narrative — drink, currency, contraband, cause and distress signal.
