Mr Brookhaven Arc

Story Arcs2 min readLast updated: Oct 31, 2026

Span: September–October 2023, invoked again 2025–26 · Episodes: [437], [392], [394]

The channel's original boogeyman: a faceless figure from Brookhaven's 2021 history, treated in-universe as the thing that almost destroyed the city. He is the closest UrBroTodd gets to horror, and the rules around him are the franchise.

The lore, as stated in [392]

"…tried to take down Brook Haven in 2021. People who looked at him lost their face and became cursed. The people of Brook Haven were terrified — he was a monster loose on the streets."

And the rule that follows:

"If you see Mr Brook Haven do not look at him at all. Before, you used to be able to look at him in the face, but his powers have grown stronger."

So the premise is a curse with escalating rules: eye contact costs you your face, and the only defence is not looking. [392]'s title says he is "BACK", and the episode is framed as Todd joining his private server.

"Our future"

In [392] Todd notices a private neighbourhood on Mr Brookhaven's profile:

"There was a private neighborhood it was named our future and Mr Brook Haven was in there with a couple other people."

The server is presented as a cult-like parallel Brookhaven — a place where the villain's plan is already built. Later episodes reuse the phrase "our future" as a callback ([261]).

Episodes

Episode Date Role
[437] Poke Was KIDNAPPED, Todd NEEDS to SAVE Him.. Sep 18, 2023 first name-drop; a riddle chase that establishes him as a background threat
[392] MrBrookhaven Is BACK!! I Joined His PRIVATE SERVER.. Oct 18, 2023 the core lore episode: 2021 backstory, the curse, "our future"
[394] Todd Goes TRICK Or TREATING..*WARNING* Oct 31, 2023 Halloween special built on the "do not look" rule

After 2023 he becomes a reference rather than a character: 8 videos in total. [335] (frozen city) and [220]/[229] drop single mentions, and [080] (Aug 2025) brings him back for a 10-mention callback. The show treats him as ancient history the city has moved past — which is exactly how a legend works.

Production note

The character is built on the idea of the city's original owner — the "Mr Brookhaven" whose name is on the game — and the show never separates the account from the legend. This wiki keeps the in-universe version: the 2021 villain who cursed the city.
